A new departure – I’ve started to re-work some of my plein-air pictures, and make them work better. Ultimately, I think these corrections and re-workings will feed back into my immediate work, and make my onsite paintings better. Here’s one of the latest:
After years of on site painting with no re-working, I’ve started examining my work more carefully and re-working images when I think they haven’t quite come together. This is a black and white study for a re-work of a painting of Brogino. New version coming soon!
