Church in Tellaro

This beautiful and brightly coloured church is in Tellaro, a tiny village clinging to the rocks just above the Mediterranean sea on the border between Tuscany and Liguria. It has been rated as one of the most beautiful villages in Italy and rightly so. There is a little harbour where the locals still pull their tiny fishing boats up out of the water, and a beautiful covered alleyway where they then store the boats upside down - see this other sketch I made of it: covered Tellaro boat alleyway.

For more information on Tellaro, have a look at the Wikipedia page on Tellaro.

To stay here, see Tramonto, a little flat overlooking the sea or, if you'd like a pool, Casa Guelfi, a house for 2 with a private pool.
