St Mary Le Bow

This church towers over Cheapside with all the poise of any Wren church. I sketched it sitting in a doorway and eneded up using three sheets of paper to get the scale of it in. They're framed together, and the joins are visible - to me they're part of the painting itself, and a memory of the experience of sitting on the street among passers-by on a cold winter's day.
